Technology is amazing, and amazingly time consuming and frustrating. As an artist it opens up many new playful avenues but it is so challenging to keep up.
My favorite bit of technology at the moment is www.craigslist.com. It is such a simple site that is so incredibly practical. Its like having a local bulletin board for anywhere. I've made some great connections through craigslist and have used it as an advertising tool for my massage business.

More Flickr Fun
I explored mappr most extensively. I found a link to this graffiti website http://www.otherthings.com/grafarc/index.html which uses a compilation of photos to show the evolution of graffiti on a particular surface over time. There is some really amazing work and its just interesting to see how it changes in a span of 10 years. Most of them are more like murals than typical tag style graffiti. Its incredible the images that street artists can create just using spray paint.

I found a great photo of a couple doing a lindy swing out on a lake dock. I think its a great shot because the dancers are caught at the end of the swing out and it shows the energy of the dance. I also like that the dancers aren't in a typical dance environment. It is a very playful dance captured in a playful photograph! Check it out at http://www.flickr.com/photos/sharonmdavis/952388087/

7&1/2 Habits
For me the easiest habit for being a successful learner is taking responsibility for my learning. I'm very good about taking classes and seeking for opportunities to learn. I am a massage therapist and I have done many trades with people to learn new skills. Most recently I started trading for violin lessons. I've also been learning how to spin wool using a spinning wheel.
The most challenging habit for me is starting with the end in mind. I find I am not very specific with my learning goals. For instance with starting my violin lessons I am just thrilled to learn anything. I don't have a specific vision for myself and how far I would like to go or what exactly I would like to learn on the violin.
